The Dominican Rosary Confraternity and Marian Shrine stands sentinel at the crossroads of heaven and earth, bearing the torch of the Order of Preachers to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ. Through the Holy Rosary, that chain of mysteries binding earth to the Heart of Mary, we awaken devotion to the Blessed Virgin and draw souls into the Dominican way of prayer, contemplation, and preaching.
Our mission is singular: to set the world ablaze with love for Christ, the Eternal Word who “pitched His tent among us” (John 1:14); for Mary, the “Mother of Fair Love” (Sirach 24:24), whose Immaculate Heart beats in unison with the Heart of her Son; for the Holy Rosary, the weapon St. Dominic received from heaven to crush heresy and convert sinners; and for the Holy Catholic Church, the “Bride of the Lamb” (Revelation 21:9), against which the gates of hell shall not prevail.
As a center of Marian spirituality and formation, we unite the faithful in the global spiritual communion of the Rosary Confraternity founded by Saint Dominic. As Pope Leo XIII declared in Ubi Primum: “Whenever a person fulfills his obligation of reciting the Rosary according to the rule of the Confraternity, he includes in his intention all its members, and they in turn render him the same service many times over.” Through preaching, sacramental life, Marian devotion, and communal prayer, we strive to make the Rosary a living school of faith that draws humanity closer to Jesus Christ through Mary. “The Dominican Order... holds as its inheritance all that belongs to this devotion.”
